Outsourced accounting services mean an outside provider keeps your books, closes each month and files your returns, so you do not have to hire in-house. The work covers daily transactions, bank reconciliations, monthly reports, and the bills you pay and invoices you send. It all happens in your own software, on a fixed monthly cycle, for a flat monthly fee.

Most U.S. small businesses reach this point the same way. The bookkeeping outgrew a spreadsheet, and then the reporting outgrew the bookkeeping. Now three different people touch the numbers, and none of them owns them. Outsourcing replaces that with one engagement at one flat rate. It runs from daily transactions to the filed return, and every close gets a senior review before it reaches you.

Behind, stuck, or not sure the numbers are right? Send us the basics. We will review your file and tell you plainly what we find.
Outsourced accounting services are a monthly service in which an outside provider runs your finance back office instead of an in-house hire. It covers your bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, month-end close and financial statements. It also covers the bills you pay, the invoices you send and the returns filed at year end. You pay a flat monthly fee, and the work stays in your own software.
Twelix charges a flat monthly rate set by your transaction volume and scope, with no hourly billing and no setup fee. That is usually well below the cost of doing it in-house, which can pass $200,000 a year once a bookkeeper, an accountant and a controller are all on payroll. You get a fixed written quote within 24 hours of your free discovery call.
Most small businesses start with bookkeeping and add accounting once a lender, investor or board asks for accrual-basis statements. Bookkeeping records what happened: transactions categorized, accounts reconciled and the ledger kept current. Accounting adds accruals, prepaids and a reviewed set of statements, so income and costs land in the right month. See small business accounting services for where bookkeeping ends and accounting begins.
We work inside the software you already use, including QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage, NetSuite, Gusto, Shopify and Stripe. We never move your books to a system of our own, and you never have to switch. Twelix holds QuickBooks ProAdvisor and Xero advisor certifications.
Most cleanup projects take 3 to 15 business days, depending on how far behind the books are and how many accounts need reconciling. You get a completion date with the quote, before any work begins. See bookkeeping cleanup services for how the project runs.
Yes, your data stays in your own accounting system and is accessed read-only wherever the platform allows it. Twelix is ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certified, SOC 2 Type II audited and HIPAA compliant. Access is set by role, every action is logged, and anyone who can see your file has signed an NDA. See our data security page for every control.
No, Twelix is month to month with no long-term contract and no cancellation fee. There is no setup fee either. You stay because the service is worth it, not because you are locked in.
We serve 14 industries, including e-commerce, construction, real estate, restaurants, healthcare, logistics, SaaS, professional services and nonprofits. Each engagement starts from a chart of accounts built for that industry. Its close checklist also covers the spots where those books usually go wrong.
Every account runs from the written close checklist, built during onboarding. It records how you invoice, which vendors recur and how your chart of accounts is set up. Each close is prepared against that checklist and then reviewed a second time before it reaches you. Because the steps are written down, your statements arrive on the same dates and in the same format every month.
Yes, and most clients keep their CPA. We prepare CPA-ready financials and work with your tax preparer directly. That often lowers their fee, because they no longer spend hours rebuilding the year.
Yes, we run payroll on your behalf inside your own payroll account, such as Gusto, ADP or QuickBooks Payroll. Payroll stays under your company's name, and Twelix never becomes the employer. We also handle the bookkeeping side: payroll entries, payroll taxes and benefits are matched against what was actually filed.
You receive a complete financial package by the 10th of the following month. It includes a profit and loss statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement, and receivable and payable aging, plus a summary of key changes. A walkthrough call is available whenever you want one.
Book a 30-minute call. We'll tell you exactly where your books stand and what it costs to fix, before you commit to anything.
